Mandalay is handmade in India to an English design for Mark Elliot. These reclaimed teak timbers have undergone intense reclamation. Stripped, washed and sanded, this wood has had a previous life - and you can really notice! Presented (unusually) in its natural colour, distressed teak is strikingly attractive in appealing multiple honeyed tones. The styling is minimalist without being modern, pared down without paling into insignificance. Lovely.
 

NB. All items in the Mandalay range have a significantly distressed finish which reflects the nature of the reclaimed timber used to make it. This includes colour variations and superficial marks. The overall effect is an intrinsic and desirable feature of this traditional type of furniture, and should not be considered as a fault in any way.
