There is always something going on at Mark Elliot. I think its because we are still a relatively small, independent company, who has retained the ability to make change happen quite quickly, once we have decided that we should.

I am able to make fast decisions where and if they are needed because I am involved at so many levels, and I believe that the company and our customers still benefit from this very hands on approach.

I keep a very close eye on our ranges, and each item within them, so that I know very quickly what is proving to be a hit with our customers (or conversely a disappointment.)

I still deal regularly with all of our suppliers, so they understand the quality and service we expect from them, which of course is vital to us supplying you with the service you expect.

We try very hard to get it right all of the time, but of course we slip up occasionally, and then we have to put our efforts into getting it right next time.  But I can assure you that this is a company that does not rest on its laurels.

So what has been happening recently?

1.The introduction of Mark Elliot Great Basics.
Our timely response to the ever present quality/value argument  which (unsurprisingly)  we take very seriously.

Our Maine range is great value furniture which is  handmade to order in our factory in Beccles, Suffolk, so its just as beautiful as you would expect. However, by careful design, planning and manufacture, and by limiting the number of items, and sizes in the Maine collection, we have been able to launch the range at terrific prices.
Now it is possible to own our lovely furniture, and pay less than you would expect. Please take a look (just click on Maine in the furniture section) and see for yourself.

Trinity. Our brand new sofa corner unit. Aptly named, because I think this might be the holy grail of sofa making-  creating that mix of small and larger pieces that together produce a statement sofa that combines style, practicality and comfort. No photo yet (sorry) but come and see one in store.
